4 Days / 3 Nights Queen Elizabeth National Park Tour
Day
1: Entebbe International Airport - Kampala
Upon
arrival at Entebbe International Airport, meet & greet with a Trek East Africa
representative and thereafter transfer to Cassia Lodge/ Hotel Africana (Up market)
or Fairway Hotel / Makerere University Guest House (Budget) for overnight stay.
Meal Plan: Dinner.
Day 2: Kampala - Queen Elizabeth National Park
Set
off from Kampala at 8:00 am and head for Queen Elizabeth National Park. Punctuated
with stops at the Equator line and for lunch enroute, the drive will take a minimum
of 6 hours.
Queen Elizabeth National Park set in the western rift valley boasts
a remarkable variety of flora and fauna. The park offers a remarkable range of
habitats - tropical forest, grassy plains, lakes, rivers, a zone of old volcanic
craters and a vast bird diversity of 612 recorded species.
Overnight stay at
Jacana Safari Lodge / Mweya Safari Lodge or Simba Safari Camp. Meal Plan: Breakfast,
Lunch & Dinner.
Day
3: Queen Elizabeth National Park
After early breakfast, drive to Kyambura
Gorge where you will partake in a thrilling Chimpanzee safari trek (subject to
permit availability). This guided safari walk in search of Chimpanzees may also
yield sightings of baboons, red tailed and Colobus monkeys.
In the afternoon
take on a unique launch cruise along Kazinga Channel - one that joins Lakes George
and Edward. The launch cruise passes through presumably the highest concentration
of hippo in Africa and other mammals are a common sight as they drink at the water's
edge.
The birdlife is abundant and colourful. Later return to the lodge. Overnight
stay at Jacana Safari Lodge / Mweya Safari Lodge or Simba Safari Camp. Meal Plan:
Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner.
Day
4: Queen Elizabeth National Park - Entebbe
Rise early and take on a morning
game drive. Look out for lions, Elephants, buffaloes, hyenas, the comical warthogs,
Antelopes and with luck the elusive Leopard could be spotted. Return to the lodge
for late breakfast.
Check out and start the drive to Entebbe with a stopover
for lunch enroute and other places of interest like souvenir selling points along
the highway. Arrive Entebbe in the evening in time for your late outbound flight.

Day 1: Entebbe International
Airport - Kampala
Upon arrival at Entebbe International Airport, meet &
greet with a Trek East Africa representative and thereafter transfer to Cassia

Day 2: Kampala
- Murchison Falls National Park
Depart Kampala at 8:00 am and head to Murchison
Falls National Park via Bombo. Stop for lunch in Masindi prior to proceeding Murchison
falls National Park through Kichumbanyobo gate. Murchison Falls National with
76 Mammal and 450 recorded bird species respectively provides perfect opportunity
for you to see some of the greatest concentrations of game in - The Pearl of Africa.
Overnight stay at Red Chilli Camp or cross by ferry to Paraa Safari Lodge
on the northern bank of River Nile. Meal Plan: Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner.
Day
3: Murchison Falls National Park
Start the day with an early morning safari
game drive on the Buligi, Albert or Queens tracks north of the river Nile where
you will look out for those animals that are unique to the African Savannah like
Giraffe, Antelope, Lion, Elephant and with luck the elusive Leopard.
In the
afternoon, take on a launch cruise on the great River Nile. The cruise takes you
to the Bottom of the awe inspiring Murchison Falls where the River Nile hurls
itself in appalling convulsions through a narrow crevice and plunges 130 feet
in one breath taking leap.
Enroute, look out for huge crocodiles, schools of hippos, buffaloes, elephants and a variety of water birds like herons, cormorants, ducks, bee-eaters, kingfishers, skimmers, fish eagle and the rare shoebill. Overnight stay at Red Chilli Camp or Paraa Safari Lodge. Meal Plan: Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner.
Day
4: Murchison Falls National Park - Entebbe International Airport
On this
day before you leave the park, take a drive to the "Top of the falls"
for a breathtaking sight of the raging Nile as it forces its way through a rocky
gap barely six meters wide. Later proceed to Entebbe with a stopover for lunch
enroute and other places of interest like souvenir selling points along the highway.
Arrive
Entebbe in the evening in time for your late outbound flight. Meal Plan: Breakfast
& Lunch.
