UGANDA GORILLA SAFARIS

DAY MOUNTAIN GORILLA SAFARI
Day 1: Morning departure from Kampala for the south with stops
at the craft village at the Uganda Equator for pictures and shopping.
After lunch at the Lakeview Hotel in Mbarara, proceed through the beautiful
evergreen mountain country referred to as the "Little Switzerland".
Arrive late evening for dinner and overnight at campsite. Transit Time
8-10 hrs.
Day 2: Briefing by park ranger guides. Later with picnic lunch,
start 30 minutes - 8 hours trek to find the Mountain gorillas. The tracking
starts at the area where the gorillas were the previous day. After a full
hour with the gorillas, return to your accommodations for dinner and overnight
at campsite.
Day 3: Transfer to Mbarara for lunch, Later depart for Kampala.
Transit Time 8-10 hrs.

UPMARKET Rate - 1,585 USD Per Person
BUDGET MARKET rate - 1,390 USD Per person
In terms of accommodation the price quotes given above are based on the
up market and budget options. The budget type of accommodation is in basic
facilities such as hotels/Rest Camps/Bandas. Bandas are African small
medium houses separate from each other and may not be self contained,
while for the up market option, accommodation is in en suite/ self contained
facilities with standard facilities and services such as the meals.

Services of a 4 x4 WD vehicle with plenty of leg room
An English speaking driver/guide, fuel plus all activities while on the
tour as will be detailed in their itinerary.

Accommodation in Kampala (day prior to safari departure and on return
from the safari)

Please note that our
safaris usually begin and end in Kampala.
